This is a real innovation for the industry of surfing : an eco-friendly and recyclable surf in aluminium and wood !

Presented at the JEC world 2019 (International Exhibition for the composite industries), the piece was well-received by the professionals of composite and sailing and by the surf enthusiats.

The structure is composed of machined honeycomb with complex double-curvature shapes. Thanks to the knwo-how on machining honeycomb, Halcyon can adapt lots of complex pieces to its process.

The product remains waterproof, rigid and present good sensations of sliding. Indeed, the product has all the charcateristics needed for the surfers : the mass is only 4.5kg, the design is perfect, the surf present good floating properties.

This innovation is produced by Halcyon in medium series for the society Utopik which develops solutions for recyclable surfs.
